Join Silicon Valley Youth Climate Action (SVYCA) and Breathe California for a collaborative webinar focused on air quality, public health, and youth advocacy in the Bay Area.
The webinar will begin with a 10-minute introduction from the SVYCA Climate and Health Collaborative (CHC) Co-Chairs. This will include an overview of SVYCA’s mission, team structure, and current initiatives. Attendees will also learn how to pursue their passions in climate education, public health initiatives, and youth-led advocacy efforts.
Breathe California is a nonprofit organization dedicated to improving lung health and preventing respiratory disease. The organization leads programs in air quality monitoring, environmental education, youth leadership development, and community outreach.
During this presentation, Breathe California will discuss current air quality conditions in the Bay Area, the environmental challenges residents face, and practical steps individuals and communities can take to reduce exposure and protect their health.
